Toong Tumsao Sub-district
History
Toong Tumsao is currently located is the Hatyai Organization area and is divided in ten
sub-divisions including Ban Toong Liap, Ban Toong Tumsao, Ban Hurae, Ban Naisri, Ban Hoh, Ban Nasaen,
Ban Pruchaba, Ban Tha Moh Sai, Ban Wangpa, and Ban Koh Muang. It is a wide expanse covered with
fields and an area of Tum Sao trees. It was a remote area under the influence of the Communists militants.
General Details
It is the largest sub-district in Hatyai District and is located 15 kilometers west of Hatyai. The
rain fall comes according to the season.
