Autapao Sub-district

History

Klong Udtapao Sub-district is separated from Tha Chang Sub-district in Bang Klum
Sub-district. The Klong Udtapao river flows through the district which is why this name was given to the

district.
General Details

The land consits mainly of flat plains suitable for farming. It has be1�n divided into four
sub-divisions. This sub-district is only six kilometers out of Hatyai.

Bordering Districts

T o the north: Ban Han and Bang Klum Sub-districts, Songkhla Province
To the south: Tha Chang and Bang Klum Sub-districts, Songkhla Province

To the east: Klong Hae Municipality, Hatyai District, Songkhla Province
To the west: Tha Chang Sub-district, Bang Klum District, Songkhla Province

There is a population of 2,525 inhabitants in 665 households.
