Nam Noi Sub-disrict

History

Nam Noi Sub-district is located between Hatyai and the main Songkhla District in Songkhla
Province. The history tells that the villages called it Ban Nam Yoi because in the area of the 19th kilometer
there are many hills and tall trees and within these hills there is a stream that flows all year round. Later the
administration gave it the name 'Ban Nao Noi' and it is stil used today.

General Details

Nam Noi Sub-district has a topography of elevated plains. The area with the hillside slopes from
Nam Noi hill reaches all the way to the Songkhla Lake and follow the flow of Nam Noi and Pawong Klong.

to the south: Toong Yai Sub-district, Klong Hoy Khong Municipality, Hatyai District, Songkhla
