History

Hatyai District is located in the Hatyai Municipality
General Details

It is twenty-eight kilometers outside of the Main Songkhla District and is the gateway to
neighboring countries including Malysia and Singapore because it is only sixty kilometers from the Sadao

Border Point. Hatyai is a commercial, business, communication, transportation, education, and tourism
center. Tourists can buy different products on Nipat-Uthit Road 1, 2 and 3, and in the various department
stores, for example at the Lido, Odean, Hatyai Plaza on Sanaehasorn Road, and at Kimyong Market on

Petkasaem Road.

To the north: Klong Hae and Klang Autapao Sub-districts, Hatyai District, Songkhla Province
To the south: Kuanlung and Koh-Hong Sub-districts, Hatyai District, Songkhla Province
