5. "Ai Samor" This character is from the troupe of shadow puppets named "Nang kan Theng
Lor". This character imitates a Muslim man, named "Samor", who is from Sak.om village, Jana District in
Songkhla Province. The real person allowed the puppeteer to invent this comedian. His personality, he has a
bend back, there is a bump on his neck, he has a big stomach and he is short. He usually wears a Muslim hat
and wears a sarong without a shirt. He likes to imitate others, to eat pork and drink alcohol. His speech is
very slow but he clicks repeatedly the tip of the tongue like the accent of the "Sak.om" dialect. None can
imitate his character as good as the shadow puppet show from "kan" troupe He is the made of "Khwan
Muang".

6. "Ai khwan Muang" is the main comedian of "Chankae\\ " group from Nakhorn sri
Thammarat Province. There is no history of this character. In general this comedian is not called ''Ai Muang"
but is called ·'Lung Khwan Muang" or Uncle Khwan Muang. It shows that this character imitates from a
good person respected by all. His face is similar to a goat, he has short curly hair. He has a dark completion.
He is old and has a long, pointed nose. His stomach is big, has a bottom, his index finger is as big as the
finger of "Ai Teng". Usually wears black shorts with a belt, does not wear a ~hut. He is faithful but smart
sometimes, questions others information. His voice is very sweet. This puppe can be seen around "Chian
Yai", "Parkpanang" and "Tahsala" District. His occupation is usually a security guard at the gate and the time
teller of the village.
