Course: Baby Lullabies, (Limon) Bang Klum District, 20 Hours

Importance
Nursery rhymes are literary works which has been
taught and expressed socially by memorizing them There is no
record how the rhymes were passed on. Most of the creators of baby
lullabies are people looking after babie~ such as parents,
grandparents and older siblings. The main purpose of this song is to
put the baby to sleep, relax her as well as reduce boredom when
feeding. Then the details of the song are about expressing life
conditions and social and cultural beliefs.
The details are a mixture. For example they are about
traditions, mottos, teachings of the Buddha, sarcastic sayings, the love of youth and so on. The Nursery
rhymes are a place where important knowledge is stored and teaches about claseness in the community,
moral and good behaviors.

Aim of the Course
For the young children, the youth and the general public to study and reflect on the baby
lullabies regarding customs, traditions, beliefs, superstitions, family, economy, transportation and
relationships in the community.

Aim
For the learners to understand the social impact taking place in the baby lullabies.

Course Contents Containing the following materials:
1. To learn and study the nursery rhymes for social reflection and also about the culture in
other parts:
- Customs and traditions, beliefs, family, economy, transportat10n and relationships in the
community
2. To study the nursery rhymes languages, poem style, structure of baby lullabies, to analyze
the contents and the value, such as emotions, social life, , wisdom and the teachings of Buddha.

Study Time: curriculum of the nursery rhymes 20 hours.
1. Study the nursery rhymes on the social reflection and culture: 10 hours.
2. Study the nursery rhymes language, poem style, structure of the song: 10 hours.
