"Ban Laempho" his teacher was able to do "Limon" ritual, so he taught him, the next generation. Besides, he
has learned from community seminars from Artist Community, Nakornsrithammarat Province. He has also

ritual performance will be performed from the 6th month until the 10th according to the Buddhist calendar.
3. Experience in his line of work
3.1 Special Expertise
1) Expertise in Limon
Mr. Nuklay Thipkorn is an expert in singing baby lullabies reflecting the customs and traditions
as for example becoming a Buddhist Monk. This Thai tradition has been practiced for a very long time. It is
believed that a Thai male of around 20 should become a monk. It means to become a well-trained person.
This holy tradition for the Thai male displays paying back for a favor or service performed toward his
parents. And before getting married Thai males should become monks. The other villagers will call that man
"Naen" such as "Pee Naen", as the poem below,
Ha Eur TonPrao Her Ton Prao Ton lean
Pee Ae Buad Pen nean6J~u:ns Sao Noi Yar Pueng Ao Pua
Nam Kang Nai Duean Hok Man Tok Long Wang Khao Wuo
Sao Noi Yar Pueng Ao Pua Hai Pee Suk Tae Nean Korn Her
2) Expertise in Singing Laem Pho Music
Mr. NuKlay Thipkorn can also sing the baby lullabies, "Learn Pho" boat song, and creating
Learn Pho songs. This is a traditional performing art for the local people m Learn Pho. It means: A small
place facing the Songkhla Lake. The instruments and the performance are the local ones taking place in a
boat. The rhythm of the play is similar to the paddle. To be in step, the person who rows the boat must sing
and listen to the singer and also must find inspiration from the different settings from the environment and
apply it to the music. The topics can cover anything, competition, praise or bothering someone, for the
enjoyment of the listeners. Before singing one must pay respect to the ancient teachers. Then the singer will
recite a verse or invite other people to join in, sometimes inviting then by bothering someone until they will
participate. Sometimes it is about a sweet love story, depending on the situation. Usually this performance
starts at the end of a fast or the end of Lent. The villagers call it "Lark Pra" or "Chak Pra''.
This show can be performed on land (but still on the boat) m public places (Rue Pra). The
performances will be more entertaining if there are 2 parts one for men and one for women.
