Mr.Parinya Sriwan has been interested in the shadow puppet show since he was 5 when his
mother bought him a puppet and made him a screen for manipulating the shadow puppet. When he was 9, he
attended and joined the troupe named "Rung Far Ban Thueng Silp" shadow puppet show. He learned how to
manipulate the shadow puppets, reciting verses along with manipulating the puppet and joined this group
when the group hired and invited him to perform. Then, when he was 11, he joined a group named "Lam
Duan Sor Imteng" and the same year he became a student of "ImTeng Troupe" who is a National Artist. He
was the last generation of students of this group when he was 12. This time he performed his first show
under the named "Parinya Sriwan Sor Lamduan", and joined the holy celebration by "Imteng" group in
200 l. After that he performed several times and changed the name of his troupe to "Nang Ohm Tatung
Parinya" (The Royal Certificate Award)

Reward of Mr.Duan Aromrit: he has acquired and passed on his knowledge of the local
performing Arts about the shadow puppet show and Manorah dance, he also set up networks as follow:
Established the local Artist Training Centre for the youth in his community.
Instructor of "Nang Nong Na" Troupe (Mr. Sako! Pechkam) who received a student award
from His Majesty the King of Thailand.
Trainer Teacher of "Nang Nong Bird" (Mr. Somsak Kaewrattana).
Collected rewards and information of the group "NangLamduan ImTeng"
Gave training in traditional musical instruments, shadow puppet show, Manorah dance and
Thai traditional music to students, youth and interested people to preserve the local shows.
Led trained group to practice by performing during festivals
Arranged the curriculum of Shadow Puppet Show, Manora Dance following the project of
Thai wisdom encouragement of Songkhla Administrative Organization, and pubhcize the curriculum for
other educational institutes in the district to study in class
