Prik Sub-district

Background

Prik: Sub-district was formerly Prik: District of Saiburi Province. When Saiburi became
a part of Malaysia Prik: District was moved to a different location and the name was changed to Sadao
District. Prik: Sub-district is now a part of Sadao District.

Basic features

70% of the area is leveled terrain and the other 30% are hills and mountains. In the hilly
areas there are forests and rivers. One river in particular is the Ootapao River. This river is important
for the agriculture in the area.
