In 2531 Samnak Teao Sub-district was divided to form a new sub-district. h e district
committee decided to name the place after an important place in the area in order for the locals to

remember the name easily. h e new sub-district was named Samnak Kham.
Landscape and Terrain
Samnak Kham sub-district is located on the border of Kaeda Province, Malaysia. Most of
the area is leveled terrain with a few hills. There is also forested land and rivers flowing throughout
the area. Samnak Kham Sub-district is divided into 7 sub-divisions.
