            Administration
                    Local  Government:  The administration is  divided into 9  sub-districts, 59 sub-divisions,

            (Announced by the Ministry of Interior on 13 November 2540) as follows: Bankiet Sub-district 5
            sub-divisions, Chalae Subdistrict 5 sub-divisions, Pakart Subdistrict 5 sub-division, Pakroh Subdistrict
            6 sub-divisions, Ramdang Subdistrict 7 sub-divisions, Tamnohp Subdistrict 7 sub-divisions, Wat Kanun
            Subdistrict 8 sub-divisions, Ching Koh Subdistrict 6 sub-divisions (Moo 1 to 6 have some areas in the

            Singha Nakorn Municipality zone), and Muang Ngam Subdistrict 10 subdivisions.


            Local Government
                     Singha Nakorn Municipality:  Made up of 4  sub-districts  of 20  sub-divisions,  with  an

            area  of 33.9  square  kilometers.  Satingmoh  Sub-district  includes  Moo 1-6, Huakao  Sub-district
            includes Moo 1-8, Chingko Sub-district includes Moo  1-4 and a part of 5, Tumnop Sub-district
            includes some parts of Moo 1, and there are 30 communities in the Singha Nakorn Municipality.
                    Sub-district  organization  Office:  There  are 9  offices  including, Tamnop Sub-district

            organization  Office,  Ching  Koh  Sub-district  organization  Office,  Watkanon  Sub-district
            organization  Office, Muang Ngam  Sub-district  organization  Office,  Bangkiat  Sub-district
            organization  Office, Chalae Sub-district organization  Office, Pakart Sub-district  organization
            Office, Pakroh Sub-district organization Office, and Ram Dang Sub-district organization Office.



            Geography
                    Singha Nakorn District is located on the national highway number 408 Road of Songkhla­
            Ranod, Moo 5  Sating Moh  Sub-district, Singha Nakorn District,  Songkhla Province. It is situated

            northwest of Songkhla Province, west of the Gulf of Thailand, and east of the Songkhla Lake. It is 974
            kilometers from Bangkok and is at the following distances from Songkhla: National Highway number
            408 around 26.6 kilometers and 6 kilometers by ferry. Singha Nakorn has a total area of 229 square

            kilometers or 21,187 rai, with an area outside the municipality of 100,771 Rai and a total area of both
            inside and outside the municipal area of 121,958  Rai. There are 58,685 Rai of flat land (48.12%),
            there are also mountains and bodies of water covering about 63,273 Rai (51.88%). Connected to the
            north to Watjan and Thahin Sub-districts, Satingpra District, Songkhla Province, connected to the south
            to the  Songkhla Lake,  connected  to·the  west to  the Gulf of Thailand, and to the west Koh Noo

            and Koh Maew connected to the Songkhla Lake, Kuaniang District, Songkhla Province and Pakpayoon
            District, Phatthalung Province.
