Steps in Making a Bird Cage

                      1. Cut the long strips of rattan on a wooded/stone board to make it easier in cutting the pieces
for the bird cage. A rope must be used to tie the pieces together for 2 days to avoid them corning apart and
          then they can be used.
                     2. Use the coiled rattan to cut out the strings according to the size and form of the cage, for
example if it is a middle sized cage it should have 48 holes and the last hole should be at a distance of one

          hand span.
                     3. Take the rattan measure the distance between each hole, marked, then drill the holes and
the part with the furthest hole, will be thinner at the end, proceed the same with all pieces

                     4. Nail 2-3 nails into the rattan to connect the pieces without the nails covering the holes made.
                     5. Tie the wire into 3 parts including the top, middle, and the bottom part using the pliers to
          twist it.
                     6. When the amount needed is ready cut them at the same level on every side of the rattan.
                     7. Use another part of the rattan to measure the top and the bottom into the same form as the

other parts of the birds cage.
                     8. Drill holes into the entire rattan coil using an electric drill
                     9. Use a big knife to smooth any sharp edges or other parts of the stick so that nothing can

          injure the bird.
l 0. Saw off the bamboo according to the length needed
                     11. Take the bamboo that has already been cut and trim it according to the size needed
                    12. Making the frame accordinding to the chosen shape of the bird cage, it can be circular,

          flat, big, or small.
                    13. Take the finished frame and heat it in the fire for 30 minutes until yellow then let it sit for
15 minutes so it doesn't stick to touch
                    14. Insert the frame into the the holes made in the rattan and use nails to keep it in place tight,

at the top, middle, and the bottom
                    15. Add bars spacing them evenly
                    16. Put a hook at the top of the cage
                    17. Insert a stand for the bird by connecting it to the back of the cage

                    18. Construct a door in the middle of the cage
                    19. Lacquer the finished cage thoroughly
                    20. Secure all the pieces together by hammering in the nails
