"Mae Tom" long tail Boat Song 1s one of the traditional
shows of Songkhla Province. The main element is a singing
dialogue. This play reflects the social life and the culture or
traditions of the villagers. It demonstrates the details that
each social activity depends on the culture (in the way that
there 1s no culture if there is no social life). The song
reflects the social life and the culture along several topics:
traditions, politics, government economy, beliefs and
entertainment. This song reflect<., the social problems
occurring in the community.
