Day 1 - Check the names of the students in the first group 30 Minutes
- Start teaching the various Thai designs and their history. 30 Minutes
- Usage of the tools to carve, cut the stalks used. I Hour
- Teach how to draw the single tooth, the Nong Sing, 1 Hour
and the Kanok pillar design.
- Teach how to draw the single tooth, triple tooth, l Hour
a
and the Knok Noh design. A test of drawing the various designs.
Day2 - Instruct the students in becoming experts in drawing and 1 Hour
memorizing the designs. Have the students draw the single
tooth design, the triple tooth design, the Nong Sing, the
Kanok pillar, and Noh designs.
- Divide the students into pairs to carve the single tooth l Hour
and the triple tooth.
- Place a paper over the stalk and draw the Konok 1 Hour
pillar and Kanok Noh designs.
- Assemble these two designs together into a set. 1 Hour
Day3 - Peel of the first layer of the banana stalk, put two 1 Hour
layers together then start the carving of single tooth,
triple tooth, and the Nong Sing design.
- Carve the pillar and the Noh design 1 Hour
- Assemble all the carved designs, check and give points 1 Hour
- Select the students who carve the Kanok beautifully 1 Hour
and use the correct method of assembling.
Day4 - Peel the layers and use a carving knife to carve the 1 Hour
single tooth, triple tooth, the Nong Sing design, Kanok
design, and the Noh design.
- Explain if the Benja design or all the designs 1 Hour
to be carved
