4. Applying the dye
Use a small fine brush to color the design with batik dye to obtain a colorful craft. Leave it to

dry. But it should not be dried in the sun or in a fan because it will dry too fast and the color will not last. It
should be kept dry so the colors do not run on each other.

5. Fixing the color of the Batik Fabric

After it is completely dried, remove the cloth from the frame. Allow it to �oak in a solution of
silicate for about 2-12 hours (this will help the color to set in). Wash the cloth to remove the silicate

6. Boiling to remove the wax

A big pot is used for boiling. The first boiling in plain water, after removing it with a stick, boil
it a second time in a water and detergent solution., rinse it and hang it to dry
