Steps to assemble flowers

Making petals

1. Use a size number 24 wire, coil it into a straw-like shape of 6 centimeters long. Bind the

wire ends finnly and shape it into lotus petals. Use another wire to wound around the stem part, then tie the
wires together at the end of the stem. Shape 15 petals and cover them tightly with cloth, then out of the 15
choose 5, and cover them with another layer of green cloth.

Assembling the flower

l. Start with the p o llen as the center piece, arrange the first 5 petals as the first row
around it.
2. Add another 5 petals, alternating them with the first layer, tie each segment in the same
manner

3. Next add the 5 petals that have been covered with the green cloth and spread them around
the second layer facing the same direction
4. Wrap the stem with green paper frost tape starting from the center under the petals to to end
of the stem to reinforce it.

Shaping the hanging roots

1. Use two pieces of size number 24 wires and twisting them together 2 or 3 times.
2. Wound another wire around the other two, leaving a small space then twist the wire 3 more

times. Keep going until you have enough roots as needed, they can either be big or small but they all must
be connected in the center..
3. Gather the ends of the wires together the same way then shape it into a circle and then into
the lotus leaf shape.

4. Gather all the stems wire into another one. Use a green cloth to cover it and pull the end of
the cloth together firmly, then use green paper frost tape to nicely cover the base of the stem.
