She is able to process and craft products made from coconut
husks and sell them to the local people or whoever is interested.
Starting Point and Work Results

The coconut husks crafting group was founded in the year 2550
from volunteers and group of Women's Development Housewives, they started by goi][}g on an excursions to
the Coconut Shell Handicraft Center in Ban Kokwua Chaiburi Sub-district, Muang District, Phatthalung

Province. They realized that their sub-district had lots of coconut shells that were being thrown away and not
being utilized, so they came together as a group to learn the skills of making coconut shell product to
generate extra income for the community. They started a training program of coconut shell productions in the
year 2551 receiving a budget from the Administration Office of Pak Trae, they now have 12 students and

keep on teaching the development of new products to be sold in markets or at various festivals to raise an
income for their families and the community.
In the year 2553 the Cultural Office of Ranod organized a community vote for the district
cultural instructors in the Meeting Hall of the Pak Trae Administration Office and on that day she was chosen

as a cultural instructor making a course of coconut shell products for the youth and people (3 groups of
20 students).
