To the north Pak Phayun District, Phattbalung Province
To the south Bang Klam District, Songkhla Province
To the east Singhanakhon and Bang Klam districts, Songkbla Province
To the west Rattaphum District

Topography
The area is covered with slopes from west to east divided into three hilly parts from west to east

connected from Rattaphum District to Bang Rieng Sub-district. Some of the second part of the area alternate
between plains and hilly terrain from the north to the south where most people in the area are rice farmers
and the third is along the coast of Songkhla Lake.

Climate

There are two seasons: summer from January through May, and the rainy season from late May
too early August.

Kuan Niang District Office area is divided into four sub-districts and 46 subdivisions.
l. Rattaphum (Rattaphum) 13 subdivisions
2. Kuan So (Kbuan So) 11 subdivisions
3. Gulch (Huai Luek) 9 subdivisions

4. Bang Rieng (Bang Riang) 13 subdivisions
