        examples of particular dances are:

                    5. Drama, Manora does not show a drama. However, if there is enough time after having
shown some dances, a short drama is played out for entertainment. A well-known act with a few actors is

selected to show. The actors usually wear the previous clothes whereas each of them tells the audience who
is acting which character. The play emphasizes jokes and sings manora verses following the drama.

Steps of Performance: In a performance for general entertainment, each manora band has set the
traditional steps of performance as follows:

                    1) Placing Manora Musical Instruments (Playing the musical instruments before entering the
        performance stage)
                    2) Initial playing of the musical instruments on the performance stage

                    3) Teacher Announcement or Invitation (Singing the teacher announcement mentioning the
story of Manora, acknowledging the gratitude of the initial Manora teachers including people to thank.
                    4) The dancers start dancing (2-5 dancers) In an initial scene one performer sings a verse
behind the curtain. Then all dancers dance on the stage showing their dancing expertise. Next the dancers sit
on a chair performing "acting along verses". Then one performer or more take turn singing the verses

describing people, places and/or real incidents. The verses can be impromptu or pre-written ones. Finally, all
performers dance to show the beautiful movements of their fingers and hands before disappearing behind the
        curtain.

                    5) A Hunter Show, a clown, who acts a hunter's action, sings a hunter's verse, tells a joke
preparing the spectators to watch the master/head performer and goes behind the stage.
                    6) The Show of the Head or the outstanding performer who show special dances and sings
particular verses as the head should perform.

                    7) The hunter comes on the stage again to tell the name of the play to be shown tonight.
