Musical Instruments for Manora

Most of manora instruments are used mainly for rhythm.
                  1. Thup a pair of small drums. They produce different sounds and are controlled by a player. It
is the most important instrument because its rhythm will lead and control the band. Its rhythm is closely
related to the movement and speed of manora. The player needs to look carefully at the manora all the time

and must know what speed to play by looking at the movement of manora.

                  2. Klong A small drum (it is slightly bigger than the drum for the puppet shadow show) is used
in the band to follow the Top.

                  3. Phee is the only wind instrument in the band for manora. Different flutes may be used in

different bands. Some may use Pee Nai and some will use Pee Nok. It can make similar sounds as a with
flute. The flute has 7 small holes, which can produce 21 notes. Its sound is close to the human voice.
