Course in Making Healthy Rice Germ
Importance
From surveying the problems of the community it was found that most of the sicknesses come
from a lack of nutrients in the food. And if lacking for a long time it will affect the growth and health of the
community. This survey found that there are many households using white rice even though there is rice and
the materials available to produce healthy drinks. The villagers should be able to use their free time after
their main occupation to make healthy rice bran to eat as a family or sell for extra income.
To make the healthy rice bran one must obtain the understanding and knowledge of the skills in
using the correct materials and ingredients that will be suitable and according to the needs of the community
and market.
Goals
1. The students will have a knowledge and understanding of making the rice germ with the
right taste and aroma and also package it beautifully.
2. The students can use the knowledge of making healthy rice germ as food and turn it into a
career to gain extra income.
