Course in Beliefs, Ceremonies and Traditions

Importance
Traditions are lifestyles and foundation of society, they display important abilities of local

communities and of the country showing the potential, traditions, knowledge, equipment used in making a
living, artifacts, cultural sources, ancient ruins that can take you back to see the worth and importance of the
culture.
Belief-ceremonies-traditions proceeding from the religion are the foundations for the social

status of the community with the methods and progress inherited from the elders.
Rituals issued from religion define the methods and progress of the ritual in various important
religious ceremonies. Various beliefs and traditions inherited from the past are still being used today.
The committee choosing the local cultural instructor realized that there was no teacher for the hosting of

religious rituals in the community and it is very difficult to find any in some other areas.
Bohdtru Sub-district organized an event for choosing the local cultural instructor in the line of
religious beliefs, rituals, and traditions to teach to the youth and people in Bohdtru Sub-district.

Goals

1. For people interested to receive the knowledge regarding beliefs, worship and traditions
2. To promote knowledge disappearing from the community

3. To inspire and promote the knowledge in beliefs, worship, and traditions
4. For the people in the community to be able to perform the rituals

Course Contents

Including the 2 following
1. Materials and equipment used in the procedure of the activities of various religious and
traditional occasions.

2. Rituals and steps in performing the activities

Religious Ceremony Course takes 20 Hours.
